Bendigo Community Telco commenced business in the year 2000, and is an initiative of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. We are a listed company that pays both a commercial and community dividend.
Bendigo Community Telco does business a little differently. We would like our customers to think of us as a partner, and trust our highly skilled staff to share strategic communications goals. We have grown our business from basic telephony, to our tailor made data network solutions and infrastructure as a service product offerings. We also design and manage data networks and have our own Network Operations Centre and Data Centre.

Former Managing Director of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group, Rob Hunt started Bendigo Community Telco in the year 2000. The idea was born out of the Community Bank model and was so successful that the inaugural CEO, Andrew Cairns, with Rob Hunt as Chairman, started Community Telco Australia, and other Community Telco franchises around Australia. The Community Telco Australia Group now sits in the top 20 Telco companies in Australia. Bendigo Community Telco has established itself as a trusted partner specialising in looking after business customers.

Most importantly these offerings have been developed hand in hand with a personal service ethos. Recently Bendigo Community Telco was able to win a five year contract for the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Wide Area Network (WAN) business by offering a more customised and innovative product. Bendigo Community Telco also provides wide area networking and virtual server resources to several other financial institutions.
